Born in Canberra then promptly moving to London for a period of time as a child before relocating back to North Queensland, Australia. Much of my younger years was spent traveling, experiencing new and often exciting places. As a young boy my Farther had a subscription to National Geographic magazine and every new issue I would pour over for hours, I always had profound respect for people who could capture nature in all its splendour in a single frame. Many years later after a trip to America and a visit to Yosemite National Park the seed was planted, It started to grow after spending some time in Springwood National park were I started taking photos. The urge to capture these scenes for myself became stronger and stronger. In 2019 I decided to give photography a serious go. I dug out an old Olympus e-500 that I had purchased over a decade prior with the intention even back then of trying to learn photography, and set about learning the very basics. After a couple of months I decided to upgrade to some more current gear and also found a local professional photographer and joined a couple of his workshops. Since then I feel that my skills and knowledge have grown tremendously and I have found that my preferred format of photography is firmly rooted with panoramic photography, with the final output been large and detailed fine art prints for display in homes and offices.

I draw a great amount of inspiration from spending time with other photographers on a location, I enjoy seeing how others approach a scene and how they interpret the landscape. I also get a great amount of inspiration and influence from other photographers and their work, and their photographic philosophies. Some of my favourites Ewan Dunsmuir, Peter Jarver, Julie Fletcher, Ken Duncan, Mark Gray and Nick Carver.
