Twin Falls, Jardine National Park, Cape York Peninsular, Far North Queensland.

Twin Falls is definitely one of my personal favourite locations for a swim and early in the morning it is also one of the most peaceful.

Chillagoe, North Queensland.

Looking North From the old Chillagoe smelter area as the last of the days light casts long shadows over the undulating land.

A low blanket of smoke and haze sitting over the land creating some lovely atmosphere as the early morning light catches it.

The landscape around Chillagoe is dotted with rocky limestone outcrops, which catch the light as the sun begins to rise. This particular morning there was alot of high cloud as well as a light layer of smoke from some fires in the area.

This pristine waterfall and swimming hole is located just at the start of the northern section of the overland telegraph track which is one of Australia’s most popular 4WD destinations.
